Aim: Lesson 2: Creating writing inspired by photos
Objectives:
- Students should be able to share and discuss their thoughts and ideas about the photos.
- Students should develop their critical thinking skills through the writing, finding the connections between photos and concepts, relating the concepts to the theme, etc.
- Students should improve their writing skills as well as their artistic skills.
Preparation:
Have one or more sets of 5 unrelated photos. Put students in groups of 2 or 3 and have them write a creative story using all five photos.
Procedure:
1. Review student work from day before.
2. Discuss how photos can be used to inspire creative writing, in many forms.

4. Share the stories with the class.
5. Compare the writing. It is possible to use one set and see how divergent the stories are. (Note to teachers: It is possible to use only one set of photos for this exercise, and see how divergent the stories are.)
Assignment Project:
Choose one of the photos from today's class and write a poem.
