Remote Learning Starts Monday, 3/23

Dear Students and Families,

In an effort to protect our community’s health from COVID-19, school buildings are closed until April 20th so that we can practice social distancing. We all need to stay home and wash our hands frequently!!

All classes will resume online in a remote learning environment on Monday 3/23. Classes are still in session, even though we are not meeting in our school building. Virtual attendance will be taken. This will allow you to get your credits at the end of the semester.

How do online classes work?
All of your class material is available here, on our LESP Remote Learning site. Please click on your teachers name to get access to your classroom. In order to communicate with all of your teachers, counselors, and administration, you must log into your PupilPath. Just like in regular classes, you will receive a grade every week for each course.

Technology Problem?
If you do not have a laptop right now, please fill out this DOE survey or call 718-935-5100 and dial 5.
If you already have a laptop and internet access, and you still are in need of help, reach out to Mr. Hopeton at 615-746-7433 for support.

We’re still here to support you!
If you need to talk to your Guidance Counselor, Advocate, or Social Worker, please reach out to them on PupilPath or you can call/text them at their Google Voice numbers listed here Support Staff. They are available between 8-4pm Monday – Friday to support you.

If you are feeling anxious, stressed or overwhelmed, connect with trained counselors at NYC Well, the City’s confidential helpline. Call 888-NYC-WELL (888-692-9355), text “WELL” to 65173, or chat online at nyc.gov/nycwell. This service is available 24/7.

If you need a health care provider, NYC Health and Hospitals provide care to all New Yorkers, regardless of immigration status, insurance status or ability to pay. Call 844-NYC-4NYC (844-692-4692) or 311.
